Love those. Went to a wedding reception at the library a year ago. Very cool place.

Thanks. Very cool place indeed. I am heading back to Cerritos (Sculpture Garden right next to the library and Heritage Park) next weekend for a maternity shoot. :D

Nice ones. I haven't been to Cerritos Library since... uh.. ~1993.

Looks like much has changed.

My daughter's doljabi is coming up too. Man, time sure flies.

Thanks Julian. Last year going to Cerritos Library was 1993 for me too. It is completely renovated now. I saw quite a few people taking tourist pictures.

I wish you the best preparing your daughter's dol party!!

Yeah. Believe me. It's the thing I hate the most about here. The job itslef is actually not too terrible. And it just paid for a 6D, a 70-200 and a 100 macro in the past month alone. So I shouldn't complain. Hehehehe.

Had a 1st bday party shoot at Cerritos Library on Saturday. This was my first time visiting ever since the remodel... I remember coming here everyday after school 20 years ago.. good old days..

Party at Library are words I'd never have expected to see together in a sentence. I guess they have to do something to keep the doors open since the number of people that read actual books is getting smaller. I only noticed 1 person reading a book among a many staring at monitors. I think both of the libraries(I know 1 of them did, I'll have to try and remember to check then next time go visit friends/family in the Bay area) I used to go to when I was a kid/teen have long sense closed.

I couldn't imagine being in an office with no windows. Especially not in Souther California.

I couldn't imagine having to work in a office in spite of windows and location.

Lucky you. :)

My job kinda requires me to be at an office, mostly.

I dont want to imagine any other work location other than my current office. Best view for me, love it, totally worth it.

I do field service so my work location is where ever the customer is or my own house if I'm not out in the field. I can't count on having a good view, but I usually don't have time to enjoy if there is one while at the customer. I usually only have to spend 1-3 hr on average at a customer so I might have plenty time afterwards.

I got to travel the world when I worked for a company, but now that I have my own business I pretty stick in SoCal(thankfully mostly San Diego since I hate dealing with OC and LA traffic).

Actually what's most important to me is not having to do the same thing everyday. I didn't mind going to the same building(actually my department had 2 and I was the only one that got to work in both, which was a plus for me) when I worked at Laurence Berkeley National Laboratory since I was always working on different types of things and projects(I worked in the electronics department and when did everything related to a piece of electronics down to making the chassis, cables, PCBs and the supporting waste water treatment plant).

No, I only said field service but more specifically I service CNC machines. I used to work for one of the manufacturers but now do it on my own. With my own business I now also rebuild various parts for the machines I service as well as for other companies that remanufacturer machines.

I really enjoy this type of work, can be challenging at times so I requires good technical and trouble shooting skills, has very flexible hours but they can be unpredictable(which sometimes sucks), give a lot of freedom/opportunity to do/see things/places since you're always going to different places. Some the shops make things I'd like to buy so I can get killer deals. It's definitely not the type of work for everyone, some people like structure or can't handle travelling while also having both good technical and people skills.

It used to be, but they upgraded the firmware over the summer and the slow focus issues were improved.

It gets the job done, and is a great walk around rig for less "professional" days. :)

Ordering one tonight!:D
