Oh no not another lawyer......I hope it's not personal injury!

I supervise insurance litigation so I have a right to say that.

Not too sure yet. As of now, I've enjoyed learning about real estate law and copyright/patent law.

Just kidding you, lots of excellent opportunites with a law degree. Be prepared for long hours though, it can be a demanding occupation and billable hours is your life blood.

Haha I know. I'm currently working in a law firm and that is all normal stuff. Billable hours rack up rather quickly

Probably not. Looking to move up north, whether NorCal or Pacific Northwest.

That'll be very cool. I've always wanted to live in the Pacific Northwest. Totally different type of landscape to photograph, haha.

I'm fairly sure no one goes into law wanting to be a personal injury lawyer :)

Also, the 6D has landed! Battery is charging. I can't wait to get home after work tonight to take it for a spin.
I have to say, just looking through the viewfinder blew my mind. Coming from the T3i, it's like a whole new world just opened up. Just the clarity of the viewfinder alone.

Can't wait to see some shots Dean. Should have some dramatic skies to work with the next few days.

We do. Coming back to work after my lunch break, I could see some clearing towards the beaches, with plenty of dramatic clouds. Unfortunately, it'll be dark when I get off work. So I think the first few shots will have to be indoors, low light (trying out the low light high ISO capabilities).
I'm hoping the dramatic clouds stick around for the weekend.

I couldn't handle having a new camera and not being able to play with it. I would probably ditch work lol. Congrats on the new toy.

You have no idea how bad I wanna go home right now. However, I have a deadline tomorrow. And the battery needed to charge anyway. LOL.

(I am however, splitting my time between reading the manual online, and doing real work, LOL).

I was looking at that sky last night and wondering what you were going to do with it, very well done Patrick as usual, love the perspective and balance of the shot, the B&W is perfect choice.

bw!

I hate the feeling when I go somewhere and go blank on perspectives.

Not sure what 7k means...

First test shot with the 6D was a bit of a fail. Let's go try again...

Pat, that shot is really really nice. Great composition and love the conversion.
