 Too bad I need more arms/hands to carry the cameras I already own. I've only got two possible lenses that I'm looking to add to my collection: the 400/2.8 and the 200-400/1.4.

But that won't happen for a very long time (if ever).

I'll take your 50L 1.2 and keep it safe, I am sure it's lonely. Still trying to get one locally here for for a decent price used...

So you've decided on the 1.2L? Good choice.

If the price is right, yes. $1,000 used and not $1,300 used. Same with the 35L but that is even less of a rush.

As long as you're willing to wait. I got my 1.2L for 1300 used. Don't think I ever regretted doing so for one minute.

We got the lens because of the awesome bokeh and flare, but mainly because of the price.
Could find the lens at $1900 in mint condition, sold by someone who wasn't aware of the real value of the lens ;) I love shooting portraiture with it

that's even cheaper than what i got mine for :) and you are right about the bokeh and flare
I find that I can use it at night in restaurants without flash and nobody notices me.

Just put mine on the swiss ebay equivalent. Can't justify keeping this lens, too few use. And I need to start funding a 300L 2.8 II.
