Actually, even the outer focus points seem to work a bit stronger than the original 5D. The outers are still not champs of low light, but the center is dead on. If its off, and the same lenses performed well on another body, I'd recommend NOT messing with micro-focus. Send it back for an exchange, if possible. If its too late for that, send it to Canon for adjustment. John Caputo

Regions of no contrast will throw them off. The centers work much better if there is a visible "line" of some sort that is oriented perpendicular to their designation.
