Finally got out today

The light wasn't great but I was out shooting and it was great.

These are great Mike....I would love to be this close to one of these beautiful birds. That 4th shot looks like he wishes he could take someone's head off.

Thank you all it was great to get out after hearing how many Eagles were around and then being snow bound for a week. These were all taken on the north fork of the nooksack river on the north fork rd in Whatcom county Washington ( the real washington not that one back east ). It's a great spot the Eagles sit in the trees all around and the road is 50-75ft above the river so there is a good chance to get fly unders and be able to get them from above like like all these except the stear which was in a tree almost level with the road taken with 300 2.8 x2 extender hand held.

Theu are here year round just not in these numbers the Salmon runs bring them out the most. If your going to be in the area PM me before you come and I can let you know if their about and maybe hook up and go shooting. Thanks again for looking and commenting.... Oh and more to come.
