After helping me dad out with a few issues with his colour management. I had a look at mine . Although when i print the pics are not far away from what i see on screen i thought could i get it any better. i am currently reading ben willmore book for cs3 as thats what i use.
in the colour management section he saying about icc profile for printer and saving it here on windows xp so photoshop knows where to find it .
windows/system32/spool/drivers/colour
when i look here i can find adobe 1998 icc for my canon ip4500 but no more for the printer.
had a look on disc that came with printer cant find any and couldnt find any on canon website.
so have i got enough and stop worrying or can i get some for specific paper as to do photo on i use canon photo paper plus glossy.
does any body know if i can get a profile for this paper anywhere?
cheers shane

In the link from my sig, there's a link to "printing with Canon printers" (or something like that). Canon Profiles have not too descriptive names like PR1, SP1 and so on.
They probably came on a disk with the printer.
Otherwise, you might be able to download them from Canon.

Oops. misread ;)

RedRiver has profiles for that Epson and their papers: http://www.redrivercatalog.com/profiles/r320profiles.htm (external link)

It seems that Epsons are installed with the drivers: Click (external link).

This self-extracting file contains the PRINT Image Matching (P.I.M.) Plug-in v2.2 for Adobe® Photoshop® and the ICC profiles for the Epson Stylus Photo R320. This installer should be used in place of the installer that was packaged with the printer. If you plan on using the P.I.M. ICC profiles, please download and use this new file.

They don't tell you the same about the Mac version however....

But you'll need the new driver anyhow if the iMac is a recent one:

Epson wrote:
Important pre-installation instructions: The Macintosh OS X driver found on the CD provided with your product is not intended for use with Intel-based Macintosh computers.

These two were 1st and 3rd hit when googling for "epson r320 profiles" ;)
