Just looking for some feedback on my website.

It was my first go at using Dreamweaver so don't be too harsh, constructive criticism only please :)

as a note, the gallery section is using a free package and is not customisable as far as i know, plus I wouldn't know how to customise it anyway :rolleyes:

Wonderful images Steve, congratulations on them. I am a bit confused as to why this is a frameset site, when you only have one frame in it. Seems like you're getting all the negatives of a frames site, with none of the questionable positives. It looks to me like you should just alias your stevegreenphotography domain over to stelor.plus.com and be done with it.

Thanks Dave.

The site does not actually use frames, someone else said similar so I preume it's because the top section never changes?

The stelor.plus.com is my webspace provided by my ISP and the domain simply points to that. In a few weeks I shall be moving the entire site to webspace provided by my camera club so i will try and sort out things like DNS then (although i completely don't understand it at the moment)

Hmm... here is the source code for your home page:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Frameset//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/frameset.dtd">
<html lang="en">
<head><title>Welcome to Steve Green Photography</title>
<meta name="Keywords" content="steve green, shropshire photography, telford photography,"><meta name="Author" content="Steve Green"></head>
<frameset rows="100%">
<frame title="http://www.stelor.plus.com/index.html" src="http://www.stelor.plus.com/index.html" name="mainframe" frameborder="0" noresize="noresize" scrolling="auto">
<noframes>Sorry, you don"t appear to have frame support.
Go here instead - <a href="http://www.stelor.plus.com/index.html">Welcome to Steve Green Photography</a></noframes>
</frameset>

It's definitely a frameset at this point, but just enough to be a "shell" around your actual site. If you're moving soon, then no big deal, but if you're going to be here for a while, I would be contacting whomever is hosing the domain of stevegreenphotography.com and getting this business out of the way.

My only nit is your 'About' page is a fixed-width page. I'm on a 1024 x 760 screen and I have to scroll left-right. Other than that I like it and you have some nice photos!

you may want to center or right the top menu.
