I have finnaly succesfully got the 430 ex and i am soldering all the wires that came with the replacement bulb. Unfortunetly this has taken a couple days as i only have a couple minutes a day to work on it ( 2 kids , 3 years and a 9 month old :))

I do not remeber where the pink wire coming out of the replacemnet flash bulb goes? :o It looks like there is a spot where it solders into the capacitor but i do not remeber. anybody have any experience with this?

Thanks for that. Unfortunetly I have seen that before. Unfortently it is different on the 430 :) ! I could not just replace the whole piece like the 530. The 430 you have to resolder everything :(
