Really nice shots. Do they think of you as a big brother? They seem to let you get real close. And aren't these the birds that will attack you when they have babies?

I could pat them with no issues at all, mother was quite happy to fly in and feed it when I was only 1m away etc. Compared to the other birds who nest on the property which try to rip your eyes out if you even look in their general direction, these guys are very placid.

Helps when you don't have lenses with enough reach for most bird shooting =P.

Fuzzy fledglings (of nearly any species) are so adorable.
These are really good closeups and nicely shot.
