:D well this is the year that ive got so much going on and want to photograph
i can hardly wait for some time . but for now these are some of the images that ive just finished .

all taken on the 40d +600mm scope hope you all enjoy these and have a happy new year.

ps watch out for the elephant tit :lol:

this little egret has been about for 3 years and it has taken me that long to get a shot like this . a rare bird for these parts of the uk :D

Lovely shots Jason. Kudos to you for getting the little egret, they are indeed very rare to spot over here and finally managing to get a great shot must have been a thrill. Poor little blue tit. I saw a blackbird today with a strange swollen beak but he seemed to be feeding OK too - I expect they're quite adaptable. Thanks for showing these. And happy new year to you too :D

thanks sheryl the egret uses two over flow outlets from the main river waveny and in one spot the water bottoms out to about 1ft deep . i have sen the bird in this part driving parst and on this acation i had one chance to get out of the car set up and walk in very slowly manual focusing the scope was pretty quick . the shot after this one is when the bird was flying off.
