I am not sure how to properly word this, however I'd like to know a bit more about what is is needed to send my shots directly to my computer and view them as I take shots in relative realtime.

Obviously there is a hard connection from the camera to the PC. Is there specific software to support this? I have a 30D, does the camera support this?

Thanks.

Use the software, EOSUtility, that came with your camera.

Hi Anke,
I will have to look at the utility again and dig a little deeper into the utilities features.
Cheers.

Another question, as I find the software, do any other programs support the this function? Apple Aperture?

Cheers.

Not sure, the EOSUtility is the only one I know of, perhaps some other more enlightened person will come along in a minute. Although EOSUtility is free so its the best bet in my book.

I use DSLR Remote Pro,

Plug the camera in via USB and you are right to shoot :)
