Totally blown sky...

Upside the head...A place where nothing good ever happens.
My stuff: 5DII, 20D, kit lens, Tamron 17-50, Canon 70-300 USM IS, 50 f/1.8, 580 EX, Lumiquest 80/20 flash bounce, a few filters, manfroto tripod with ball head. Pathetic Flickr gallery, (external link)Smugmug site (external link)

Good perspective, and carries the title well.
Colour balance is a little warm.
Fill flash can help you get these shots with a better-looking sky, if that's what you're after.

of course the sky is going to be blown, its a relatively tight dof and the subject is well exposed on a bright day, really not a damn thing you can do about it, unless you want to go hdr. good shot. i like it

Thanks for the feedback. I ask this kid (his dad is a friend of mine) if I can take his picture and he jumps up on a concrete block and strikes this pose, I kneel down nd take the shot. Considering that scenario its about the best I could do, hence a blown sky.

The sky doesn't bother me. I would do a closer crop. But that's just my preference.

Ain't nothin but a thing.
