...nice choice - I love the looks of that car (and I'm a Chevy guy!)...

I just won an auction for a lightly used 5D MkI on Ebay yesterday. I cannot wait to try it out!

You don't actually win auctions on e-bay, you simply pay more money than anyone else was prepared to pay :-)

But the 5D is a great camera

I have to replace one my MKIIN batteries before I go to Arizona next month to shoot spring training. I dropped it (not the camera, just the battery) and cracked the plastic housing.

I ordered the 055xprob legs on 01/02 from B&H... I think next up I'll be picking up a 580ex2. But I'm itching for some more new lenses too. curse this hobby.

I'm thinking 50 1.4 hsm, 24-70 2.8 hsm (pending it gets good marks), and 100-400L by the end of 09. Will be selling 50 1.8, 28-135, and 400 5.6 respectively to keep the lens count from getting out of control

I bought a bucket of Albertson's Zesty Wings and a ham as my first purchases of the year...ok, actually TWO buckets of wings...hey, the better half is 1200mi away visiting her dad so I am allowed to revert to my bachelor "living like a bear with furniture" mode even if I love to cook...

Or were we talking about camera gear?
