Didn't do the whole event like previous years, so I just did one DJ:

I don't think the last shot is "just perfect", IMO it's a nice shot with nice IQ of a character, nothing more, nothing less. Too little space under, nothing which gives you any clue of what that guy is actually doing in front of that large display.

#3 is cute!
#1: nice effect. I think I'd personally crop under + right a bit to get rid of the blueish part left under.

Well I would have to be at least 9 feet tall for that :)

You could have given the photo some more "space" under instead of that little blackish edge ;)

Eh, it was a prime lens and I never crop any of my images, so it's good enough for me, hehe

i actually attended this event and the person in the crowd with the red mouse head was actually standing in line with me to get into TAO. Long wait but very much worth it. Very clean shots

Based on what I'm seeing, I think "more space under" would be just black space.

I prefer the current framing/crop over something like that. I personally think it is a very cool image. To fans of the artist, it is probably very bad a$$. To those outside of that world of music, you are probably right. it's kinda blah, so what, some dude in a weird suit with a bizarre animal head on him....

But, again, I think it is a very cool picture and props to rukes for nailing it.

Good question, specially when one is shooting primes...

Oh, I like 1 and 2, and think 3 is great.

I think I like black space suggesting a DJ set better than just "someone with a mouse mask in front of a screen but the photo doesn't give any clue of what that guy is actually doing in front of that screen"...

He performed during Labor Day in Vegas at Wet Republic...Largest crowd I have ever seen...He definitely packs 'em in for being a young guy. Nice pictures.

Like this DJ stuff... Looks you're developing a signature shot of your own, like #2... A few more crowd shots might make for a stronger set?
