*sigh* Been shooting with my new 85/1.8 and I must say...

I'm a prime lover! Zooms have nothing on us! Sigma 30/1.4 is next for me I think...

Nice, Peter!

My 5D's newest friend  - $80, and up there with my 85L and 135L in terms of performance:

I'd love to see some sample images. I nearly picked one up myself today. The one I was looking at was a bit more expensive though. For that price the lens is a no-brainer.

I have a problem.
I'm a functioning addict, but the cost of Canons L primes is putting severe strain on my family. I have 3 lenses in my shopping cart at B&H and its going to be any day now that I click the button completing my purchase.

What do I do, I need someone to talk me down, but I Really want more lenses.

I haven't shot anything decent yet using that lens, but here's a quick snapshot I took on my walk back home a few minutes ago:

Yeah I agree with Peter, that's unhealthy, and you really don't need that kind of glass. Don't spend more than you can afford.

I'm after a 35L and a 50L but no one seems to have stock at the moment, no even the mighty Kerso. I have the cash for one of these two lenses, as soon as one of the above is available...
I'd rather the 50L than the 35L but to be honest, I'd go for either. The 35L has the advantage of being cheaper. For some reason Canon have massively jacked up the 50L's price for no forseable reason and made it's availablility very scarse.

Be glad you don't shoot Leica or Hasselblad...

I got my replacement 50L from Park Cameras. They had 10 50L's in stock to choose from:shock:

This was last friday.

Mine is a UX01- so the paint was still wet ;) This one works flawlessly.

Might be worth a try?

Fair comment Ob Com, their prices are a little steep for me at the moment. I think i need to nail a few more weddings before I can afford their prices.

First of all, I was joking. My family is not in crisis. Photography makes us more than enough money to pay for my addiction. HAHA
And I do have Hasselblad, and yes, ouch!
