Jays image found here, https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=622999
reminded me somewhat of one I have on my hard drive from Boulder City Airport.
Like I say, not as dramatic as his, but I liked it. I hope you do too. ;)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Very nice Bruce.

To see an amphib surrounded by desert = sort of an odd "Duck"

Or Albatross as the case may be.

With you being in LV, I shoulda figured this was probably near Mead. (And the fact you mentioned Boulder Muni. Read Jay, Read...)

Talk about your sleeper "car." Outside is nice but the interior? Wowza...

Nice FMS in the low center of the panel. That's big time.

ETA: Is that Jimmy Buffet's bird?

Actually, no. I suspect Jimmy Buffets plane is pretty nice too. (I've read about it.)
In fact, Thinking about it, I think the original image with the Albatross warming up is a different one to the interior shots. They had a group of them fly in from all over for this get together at BC Muni, and I'm easily confused.
To help clarify, here is a closer shot showing the emblem on the side of it.
Hopefully you can read it.
