Hi Folks

Some recent images from the Toronto Marlboros Christmas Hockey Tournament. Changed a few things re camera settings and WB.

Interested in comments and criticisms. Image editing is okay if it would be helpful for myself and other viewers.

Nice and bright, good colour, low noise on some is very good, lots of face ....but few pucks.

I'd be happy with them and be trying for better timing to capture a face and the puck.
Cheers.

Nice shots kenzzie! What did you use in the way of settings and what kind of camera are you using?

Thanks bubbanezz

Canon 1DmkIII. Set WB from the ice, pre Zamboni. Manual setting for SS=1/500th, ISO 2000 or 3200 from memmory. Not sure why EXIF data is not available, I'll try and fix for future posts.

Thanks for looking. Had a look at some of your hockey galleries. Love the action captured in some of the shots. I'm amazed that you get the 40D to perform so well at ISO3200. Are you shooting through the glass or through a portal?

Hi Ken,
All of mine are through the glass. I just prefer the angle I can get from behind the glass that I can't from the bench area. I shoot mostly at the end boards lined up with the face dot. Occasionally I will move to the side boards again lined up with the face off dot.
