Here are two of my first shots with my new 70-200 f/4 L. I love this lens so far.

Here is a candid f/5.6, 1/80, ISO 200, 98mm, and bounced flash:

Here is the focus test I did. I will prewarn you that I had trouble with this test because my son and cat thought that had to help...I'll try again later.

f/4.0, 1/200, ISO 200

what do you think? I am still getting used to my first L and IS lens.

Great lens. You chose well. There is no better 70-200 f4 IS lens currently available ;)

Enjoy.

What's remarkable to me is how the focus charts always seem out of alignment. I had this with my 30D and I made triple-sure in the viewfinder that it was straight, only to find out after moving it to the computer that it wasn't. This tells me the sensor is not congruent with the viewfinder. Strange.

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

Yeah my old xti had a crooked viewfinder. It was just a few degrees off. It took a little tumble sometime before I noticed it, I assume that is why.

My 40D is fine. If it was off, you'd never get a horizontal, level horizon. Are you getting that ?

Bohdan - I may be, and probably am, completely wrong.

"daddy I want to take pictures with your new white lens"

She often is my companion on photo trips and my helper on some sessions.

That's so cute. She's holding the camera and the lens better than some people do.

It looks like there is a TC mounted so it makes it look a little bigger.
