Here is my first car.......1965 Mustang GT. I restored it myself starting when I was 13 years old. Finished it when I was 16. This photo was taken approx. 1983.

Now, that's a car! Long skirts, sun visor. I'm surprised the 98 didn't sport more chrome.

'89 S-10 given to me by my dad, this thing was customized at the dealership where my dad bought it, it had bucket seats and a digital dash installed, had the 4.3 Vortec, pretty quick for a truck. It did have black fender trim, but it got real bad rust and they couldn't be reinstalled, you can tell my backyard fix on the fenders, lol.

This was when my dad first bought it new (that's my older brother in his arms):

This is what she looked like when she got to me:

And this is what she looked like when I killed her...I cried for a while:

Remember the 58s? They more than made up for it then!
I "Nosed & decked" it, so the big hood & trunk ornaments came off. Those are the original hub caps with candy apple red & a bullet added from my trip to a rod shot in CA. There weren't any in MI back then.

Lucky guy! It's a beauty!

That's for sure; and the '58 Buick even moreso!

I'm a big fan of Olds. My Pop was a dyed in the wool Olds guy - '56, '59, '60 and '64. The '56 and '64 were both 98s. The '59 was a "Dynamic 88" and the '60 was a "Super 88".
