This puppy and my shih tzu do not mix with my other two, a 125 lbs pitbull named Bolo and a 100 lbs dogue de bordeaux named Sasha. They are kept separate and apart at all times. What's the difference between separate and apart? Guilty as charged. It's a couple of words I stole from the Judge's charge (instructions on the law at the end of the case) to the jury. When they retire to deliberate on a verdict, the alternates are kept "separate and apart." You know how wordy the law can be.
