My sister and I took another trip to Magic Wings in South Deerfield, MA on Saturday. It certainly isn't a bad destination in the middle of the winter on a day in the teens. Of course you need to warm your camera up before going in or it will fog up and stay that way for a good half hour which happened to us the first time we went a month or so ago.
I can't think of a better location for a Macro lens, the only problem is that you can't bring in any kind of tripod or monopod so it has to be hand held which at macro distances can be a little challenging.
