A friend asked me to shoot some photos of His car in front of a restaurant that He frequents. He's friends with the restaurant owner, and wants to surprise Him with a framed copy of the first shot. ;)

Canon 50mm MK I lens.

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Probably a 64 Chevelle.

72 chevelles did not look like that. (My dad had a 72 chevelle a few years ago and sold it for a 66 mustang) They stopped looking boxy at around 67.

Looks like you came the closest. It's a 1965 Chevelle Super Sport (Same basic body as the Malibu), that has been "Retro-Rodded" with the likes of a HOT 327 engine, a built turbo 350 trans, 4:11 posi trac differential, disc brakes installed up front, the old 14 inch rims have been replaced with 17 inch rims, racing bucket seats and harnesses, and of course, a custom Silver paint job with light Purple "Ghost Flames".
This car is like brand new inside and out, only MUCH better. ;)

Nice shots of a great car! Too bad it's not a Z16, but then again if it was it would be a shame to put a custom paint job on it.

Thanks Ben! :D
Not sure what the advantage of a Z16 would be though.

boogerg first said "72 malibu." That's why I commented on when they stopped looking boxy. He then edited his post. :p

Nice shots. I remember those cars from my teen years (yikes). They were sweet.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Great shots Bruce. Your friend must have been pleased.
