My name is Julie and I'm obviously new. 
Last year, for Christmas, I received a Nikon D40 with it's 18-55 lens. I've always wanted to get into photography with concentration on animals. I like taking pictures, and learning new tricks to make the angle better or the photo itself better. I just recently purchased an upgraded computer (woohoo!) and also bought Aperture to play with the photos. I know that I still have a long way to go, and a lot of learning and reading to accomplish. I really like any and all feedback about any photo I post.
I'm an open book, always willing to post photos and ready to get out there and learn some stuff!
