My suggestion is that the camera get put away when the alcohol comes out.

Or an alternative would be to forward the originals of all incriminating pictures to me. Then I can give them out on a need to use basis. I could be like the keeper of the archive.

I rarely show this one, but I kind of like it:

I really like this one. I think it'd enhance it closer cropped though but I like it.

And "while the cameras are around" is kind of a moot point, isn't it? I mean, we are a group of photographers. When are the cameras NOT going to be around?

For real!

Chris! Keep 'em comin' :)

Thanks Lisa. I really, really need to go back and work on these again. I took them in 2006 when I knew barely anything about processing - not that I know much now....

I just did a quick LR process on this one (never been seen before!):

Guys, I think maybe Chris got to Mike. That's why he hasn't posted the picture. Do you think Mike found a horse head in his bed?

Thanks.

This is what they call "Heavy Surf Advisory" on the Pacific Coast (Newport, Oregon). Beautiful day, but crazy surf. Puddle can give you the details on why it happens.

They were drilling that day. There were two of the boats there. I got several dozen similar shots. Right place - right time. I was over there looking for a snowy owl that had been reported on the South Jetty (I lived there from 1987-2003)

Heavy surf...ya think? ;) Neat shots. Did you get to see the snowy as well?

short5 wrote in post #7064578 (external link)
Where you and I think of the beach and warm sand, seashells, fun in the water comes to mind, well I think bikinis, but the point is when they think of the beach they think, cold, brutal, fatal, rescue. I think that is a normal day fishing in that shot.

Well then, what's the point of living there? ;)

T.D. wrote in post #7064585 (external link)
Not exactly normal, but not that uncommon either.

They surf in wetsuits here. No kidding. The ocean is like ice here.

Well then, what's the point of living there? ;) Brrrr. Glad I've got a rip roaring fire in the woodstove.

Sounds like maybe I should wait for this picture.

Yup. They're strapped in. They have to hold their breath when it rolls. Puddle can tell you more about it.

That is what gets me in trouble. I have learned to leave the drinking to the pro's.

What? I won't be there. I have no vested interest in get any one person. I would put them out there on a need to mess with basis, even steven like.

I think I'm getting seasick. But I'm fascinated by the shots, too.

And I didn't text everyone, LOL.

I texted Lisa first, but she didn't answer.

So I went through my list of who I thought might be on POTN right then. I was trying to remember who was on when my power went out.

Gosh, I'll do a mass text next time, LOL.

You can figure that I'm most all the time...
