Sounds like a nice day :D

It was, and the weather was nice (upper 70's).

And with this, I am out for the night. Have a good Tuesday everyone.

Maggie story...

The whole time we've had her, she has been mellow, and calm, and sweet. With the exception of playing ball, where she does get quite excited.

Well, after the power went out, all the dogs were in the livingroom with us, and Joshua went to the clubhouse to get Risk.
Maggie decided she wanted to go out and happened to start going through the dog door (which is IN the bottom of the back door) at just the same time Joshua got to the door and started to open it. She FREAKED out. BAD. It freaked out Ams and Ginger, and Ginger jumped up from under the coffee table, spilling my wine everywhere.
Maggie came running into the livingroom and practically got on my lap.

I thought Maggie was going to have the come aparts. Josh shone the flashlight on his face, saying "Maggie, it's me, it's just me, Maggie, look, it's me".

Poor little thing.

Awww, poor girl. That Josh is one scary dude, eh?

cfpackerfan wrote in post #7063831 (external link)
Sorry if these stories are boring the crap out of you, LOL. The dogs are such a big part of my life, I have to share that.

Yes, they are boring me.......NOT!!!
Love hearing them, would rather come back to visit and see for myself, but secondhand is a good alternative. :D

QUOTED IMAGE

That is great, maybe a little tight on the crop near the top though. :D

Worse than Maggie stories. ;)

QUOTED IMAGE

Chris, I like this one at least as much as the one you have posted most. The ghostly look of the boat surrounded by the water is great.

Hopefully I can offer a suggestion for all of you who are planning to be at the meet up in June. Make sure to be safe and sane while the camera are around. I can only imagine the amount of blackmail pictures that will be taken.

Oh, I have a notepad full of ideas already.

Aren't you gonna come play too? :D

Don't get me started on how much I hate my 100-400

We should have tried testing it more but I did enjoy just jabber jawing and driving on the FR.:D

It has been back to Canon but I am just not convinced of it's sharpness. I really want to love it, really. It just isn't cutting it. I will dust it off and give it another chance on the 5D.

YAY!

And let's not forget the suckiest shot of all time with that lens:

1. Did you take any of these shots to the station for them to see?

2. I can't wait to see your coast, no matter what mood she may be in.

eddarr wrote in post #7064678 (external link)
My suggestion is that the camera get put away when the alcohol comes out.

Or an alternative would be to forward the originals of all incriminating pictures to me. Then I can give them out on a need to use basis. I could be like the keeper of the archive.

Uhm yeah..............NO!

Important announcement:

Marian just informed me that I AM A COOL MOM!

Congrats, that coveted title is extremely hard to achieve. I got mine when I chaperoned the band trip to Walt Disney World. I was the only one that let the kids choose what, where, and when they did stuff on their free time and went on all the rides with them.

S&G had the best harmonizing of any duo I've heard. Too bad they had such a tiff.

misspix wrote in post #7064817 (external link)
Nice and dramatic! My immediate thought was moody storm like. Tis why I love it here *sigh*

Once you have stood on the beach and watched/felt the sea and wind at its most awesome...the power is indescribable. It truly is a time when you feel how small you really are in the scheme of things. I love our coast. It is moody, violent, cranky and bad ass And you need to have some of the same to live with her.

So can't wait.

misspix wrote in post #7064827 (external link)
Tomorrow Can I call it or what? I am so excited for him *sigh* and a tad envious, truth be told.

Congratulations to him and I feel your envy.

cfpackerfan wrote in post #7064853 (external link)
*sigh* I'm looking in the classifieds here. I shouldn't do that.

Well if your looking for a job, also, THIS (external link) one is suppose to be perfect.

Do you have a music corner, the place where you piano and other instruments reside? I would have to frame these and put them on the wall near all the instruments.

Or you could go with what you already have in mind. :D
