Guess I've got more chance of getting a shot in the Potn Book than to get that "dream island job" in queensland:

Morning folks. Break time for a bit then back to work. :D

Great set of shots posted last night into this morning....too many to quote though. Chris, that shot of the boat that rolls, ain't no way I'm going on that thing :|.

eddarr wrote in post #7064645 (external link)
Hopefully I can offer a suggestion for all of you who are planning to be at the meet up in June. Make sure to be safe and sane while the camera are around. I can only imagine the amount of blackmail pictures that will be taken.

That would be funny....I think we need to contact the hotel owners and set up webcams for our enjoyment Eric.

eddarr wrote in post #7064678 (external link)
My suggestion is that the camera get put away when the alcohol comes out.

But that is when the best shots would be taken.

Important announcement:
Marian just informed me that I AM A COOL MOM!
I'm cool.

Congrats.....now you need the tshirt.

eddarr wrote in post #7064768 (external link)
Let's not forget about Stiflers mom.

Stiflers mom was not all that.

Becky N wrote in post #7066008 (external link)
Congrats, that coveted title is extremely hard to achieve. I got mine when I chaperoned the band trip to Walt Disney World. I was the only one that let the kids choose what, where, and when they did stuff on their free time and went on all the rides with them.

Well if your looking for a job, also, THIS (external link) one is suppose to be perfect.

Becky, band members are only "wild" at band camp.

I'd like to apply for the island thing....that would be fun. *wonders if I can take a leave of absence* I wonder how many applications they will get.

Oh, snap! I guess that means I can't send my dad a case of Shiner.

Weird that liquor and wine can be shipped....

Dunno, that was just FedEx....try UPS or DHL.

I talked to TABC today and they said if a company will ship out of state for you, its okay so long as the alcohol is for personal consumption.

oh and I took some pics of the bathroom ..in progress ..
1. As you enter the room ..
2.To the left ..
This weekend it should get painted , knowing Andy (hes a worker bee )

Wow Deb, it's looking great!! I love the tile work.

Miniflash wrote in post #7066841 (external link)
When I look at the before and after I'm still amazed ...lol
This house we bought in As in condition it had elderly folks who lived and Died here , it was filled with stuff old furniture ect ..my lamps I use in living room are from the house
Anyways its been like a all day sucker ..the best part is its nearing the end

 I'd be freaked out if I saw some ghosts. They haven't gotten angry yet that you and Andy are changing the house? If Miss Mini starts barking at a corner of the room where there is no window and she's looking up....I'd say there is a ghost there.

Well, off to work a bit.

Here are the kitchen remodel pics.

This is on the day we started tearing into everything.

IMAGE: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2237/1665043972_9f78b69511.jpg

We chopped a small hole into the wall because we wanted to see what it would look like if we connected the dining room and kitchen. I started with a small hole in case it didn't work so patching would be easy.
IMAGE: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1137/945614289_a8178bb755.jpg

All the insulation had to come out above the kitchen as the ceiling drywall was getting replaced as well. Thats me in my make shift haz-mat suit. It was onlt about 120 degrees up there that day.
IMAGE: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2278/1653605695_a4a8a8d406.jpg

Walls are almost all gone.
IMAGE: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1051/946228483_e5111ddccf.jpg

Drywall weighed a ton so I built a makeshift drywall jack.
IMAGE: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2285/1653607979_fe41a65c9b.jpg

All drywall work done
IMAGE: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2320/1737136689_9d97e0e2eb.jpg

Paint and new floor done.
IMAGE: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2276/1769598286_f40dfdabb5.jpg

And the final product taken form the same location as the first pic.

Here's one of the texture ones I took. Nothing special and it looks a whole lot better on my calibrated monitor at home.

That's a nice texture!
