It is. She dresses him down in front of Roger and I (I almost can live with that), and she does it in front of the salespeople and service techs. That is just wrong on so many levels. She has no clue about the car business. Questions everything that we do, like we don't know what we are doing. It is driving me insane. I had to hide all the razor blades, disable mapquest, hide the keys to cars with nav and called Chief Reagan and had him put road blocks up for the river bridge. In case you don't follow that, Dave is in a state of mind that all avenues to cause himself harm need to be remove (metaphorically speaking of course).
Sounds rough. The car business is definitely a different one. So much of the dynamics of a dealership have to do with machismo and good old boyness that Dave cannot be having fun.
Your cannon had a cork in it. But at least it has a hottie behind it.
