Hmmm. I know she did one about Meerkats.

... Dirty Jobs is a fun one to watch.

How its Made is interesting, and of course, my favorite: Mythbusters.

modern marvels, and extreme engineering are good shows too

... What I miss most on TV is Futurama. My all-time favorite show... Shame it got canned.

... Listening to Sister Hazel's All acoustic album... :)

Sounds nice. I am trying to expand into custom doors. They are so expensive here.

Here too. I got a fairly good deal on the one I am putting in, but it was still a bit pricey. It is to be the focus on the house though.

At some point I surpassed 5 grand. Where's my cake?

Suppose you wanna eat it too.

Harm wrote in post #7068198 (external link)
so what do I get for 3000, an individual M&M?

Only if you share. :p

Thats impossible. Twinkies never get stale. 2000 years from now when our descendants uncover a long lost city, they wont find clay jars of beer like we are, they will find boxes of Twinkies, and they'll still be able to eat them. :)

I love baked goods, but always hated the stuff off those racks, like Twinkies, Joe Louis, Ding Dong's, etc. They have no taste, other then sugar. Kinda like folks that eat plain marshmellows without roasting them and at least getting a caramelized taste.

Freshly baked foods are nice...not processed rubbish...

as for marshmallows, well after living here for almost 2 years, I can seriously make a deliciously mean schmore (smore?)

They keep talking about forcing the cable companies to allow customers to pick and chose channels. I can't wait for that to happen if it ever does. I don't need 17 game show channels just to get Discovery, History, Food TV and A&E.

I'll believe it when I see it. But yeah, that and the handful of schmaltzy channels my wife watches. But I don't need ESPN, ESPN-2, ESPN-3, ESPN-OHIO, etc ..

You can already do that with satellite TV. They have different packages, or you can get just individual channels, at least that's what a few folks around here have told me. One of their reasons for choosing it over cable.

The one bargaining chip I have is that at least they could get some money from me. As opposed to the essentially no money they get from me now.

Out at our property, sitting around the campfire, I we make quite a few hundred every year.
