Absolutely. Not sure why people would buy a nature programme that has been narrated by a movie star, rather than a world renowned nature expert who is held in high esteems and knows what he is talking about....I am glad I got Sir David Attenborough version. I grew up watching all his programmes, and had no qualms getting this one.

Yes :)

I keep getting him confused with Richard Attenborough, the actor.

They keep talking about forcing the cable companies to allow customers to pick and chose channels. I can't wait for that to happen if it ever does. I don't need 17 game show channels just to get Discovery, History, Food TV and A&E.

Oh, I so wish they would... And tailor the cost to the number of channels you choose. Of course, you know the cable companies will fight this tooth and nail.

I'll believe it when I see it. But yeah, that and the handful of schmaltzy channels my wife watches. But I don't need ESPN, ESPN-2, ESPN-3, ESPN-OHIO, etc ..

Yeah, I know we'd have to have the chick flick channel. (Lifetime)

Out at our property, sitting around the campfire, I we make quite a few hundred every year.

We always have bags of marshmallows at the house. They go into smores in the winter and rice crispy treats in the summer. I keep all of the hardwood trimmings from my furniture work and we have campfires in the back yard.

The cable companies believe that ESPN is what makes them the most money. But it is also the most expensive channel for them to carry. Dropping ESPN from 1/2 of their customers would save them a fortune.

How its Made is interesting, and of course, my favorite: Mythbusters.

Some of my favorites, when I watch the picture box

There's something about that giant smore that strikes fear in me at a very primal level.

His brother...

Really? I didn't know that...

I really like the work that Richard has done in movies. My two favorite roles of his were Sand Pebbles and Jurassic Park.

yup, Richard is the older brother...the very same one that did Jurassic Park etc.

I actually didn't know that until Jurassic Park...as I only knew David, and not Richard when I was growing up

I'm trying to do a better job of controlling my sugar intake on a daily basis. Mostly so I don't feel so guilty when the smores come around.
