You might come out of this unscathed if you bring along a pink bow for Chris so that he and Maggie match.:D

Great, thanks for that John.
It makes sense how it works, I just have to ensure the time on the camera is synced to the GPS. I have a GarminGPSmap 60CSx so would have no problems doing this.

I'm using a Garmin GPSMap 76CSx, so you should be fine. Just remember that the unit writes the track logs to the micro SD card in Universal Time (GMT), not in local time. I saw nothing in the manual that would indicate that, either. I only realized it after DLPro read the track log as starting at 8 Pm and I knew I started out at noon.

One of the cool things about being able to do this is that once the information is encoded in the EXIF there is a button in Lightroom that will immediately go to Google Maps and show the location where the photo was taken. Smugmug has a feature that allows the user to put up a map of the world showing where all their pictures were taken.

I really have no idea. Last time I checked the road was almost two years ago. It's been graded at least twice since then. But that road deteriorates pretty fast. It's usually very badly washboarded and there are stretches with plenty of large, pointy rocks to avoid.

I think you may have mentioned it once or twice... ;)

DownloaderPro can do that?!? I didn't know that! I have the latest version of DLP. I'm going to have to look into that...

Nope. You have SoCal Select passes. Mine is the next level up, the regular SoCal pass.

I think our car would be able to do it...

I'm on version 2.0.4 of DLPro and the latest version is 2.2. I'm thinking of upgrading...

OK, I thought you had the same level passes we did...

Football, two meat heads knocked heads. I figured a few people were watching. One guy went on a stretcher deadish.

Permagrin wrote in post #7106877 (external link)
It was quite a hit. He's not dead and he has movement in his upper limbs, I turned off the after game stuff though so I don't know what the current news is.

It was helmet-to-helmet contact. We heard the clang here...

I linked it out of respect to those tired of seeing my meat.

Last I heard, the road is fairly passable but it does require a truck type vehicle. 4wd is not required but some ground clearance is required. A 2wd suv should be fine.

Our is 4wd... We should be able to get through. And if Wade and Cat come down, their's is also...

I bet that a visit to the chocolate factory is a lot of fun! With you near Hershey and Didier in Switzerland, we've got some cool chocolate resources around here.

Speaking of Didier...has anyone seen him lately?

aww shoot, that lets Puddle out then

At last count...Didier was on safari to France.

I recently reactivated my car's XM radio. I really missed channel 150. It still bugs the hell out of me that they run commercials when I'm paying for the service, though... But I missed all of these comedians too much...
