I know he's bored. We just spent the last hour or so outside working through his terror of the neighbor's lawnmower. That used up a lot of his energy. He's sleeping now.

We went out to do the fetch thing but he was being stubborn and not returning the balls. We didn't go inside until he picked up those balls and brought them to me. I thought he'd win...gah.

Sunday we stopped on the side of the road to buy some oranges. You know one of those guys with the tiny 1990 Toyota Corolla with (700) 10lb bags of oranges. Just so you pour Northeasterners know they were very, very yummy.

Tell me if I'm wrong but Spaniels are not typically retrievers. They mostly point and flush. My spaniel mix losses all interest in the ball as soon as it stops moving. I have to take him to a large place where he can just run top speed and really stretch his legs out.

Cat, what does the lens say on the front?

Sonnar 1: 1,5 f = 50mm Zeiss - Opton Nr 1048104

sevillafox wrote in post #7111854 (external link)
Sorry.

Cat, that camera looks cool. Do you get you get to keep it?

Yep :D Wade's boss said if there was anything in there he wanted, he could have it. :D
He just called me a few minutes ago, and said that he's found a complete set of China (Noritake) and a full liquor cabinet. LOL.

JWright wrote in post #7111891 (external link)
That's a nice litte 35mm rangefinder. Is it still functional?

From what I can tell, it's in prime condition.

JWright wrote in post #7111891 (external link)
It probably takes a M2 or M3 flashbulb. You know if you use daylight balanced color film with the flash you have to use blue bulbs, right?

I didn't know that.

JWright wrote in post #7111891 (external link)
Neat. How fast is it?

it says 1: 1,5
 Is that the same as 1.5? I know nothing about these older cameras. The dials are almost greek to me.

I figured you'd know about it though.

Eh, no problem...and let me know how much. Seriously. You want the 60% cacoa stuff? With mint inside or anything? Or berries...they have one with a berry mix inside.

I'm serious, I really wouldn't mind taking the kids some afternoon this week...if you guys want stuff, pm me your orders. They have ANY product made by a Hershey-owned company...Twizzler, Jolly Rancher, Reese....

I love super dark chocolate... 72% or better cacoa! I found an 80% (or 82%) bar in our local earthy market.... MMMMMMMMM!!!!! I like special dark if I can't get the other stuff... but mine has to be plain! :p I usually go to the earthy market here and get my organic dark chocolate! YUUUM!

Very cool!

Nice logo design Tiff-fa-fa.

Well, here is the video I mentioned earlier. Anyone know what went wrong with the quality? The original file size was 32MB. This was taken with an actual video camera and not a P&S.

Kit you asked about lamb. I love it and make it frequently. Like tonight. I took a picture for you. It was supposed to have asparagus which would be a prettier picture but we ate it last night.I put it with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and rosemary(dried but I like fresh) Broiled it 5 minutes a side for medium rare.

No darlin. A natural ear fold. Don't worry yourself.

And that's why she has that nickname.

yeah. Wade had carrots.

She really is a LOT healthier since we got Amikah. One of the things I want to video for you guys is them racing. When we go to the lake, when they start to get too far ahead, we'll say "check in, girls!" and they'll turn around and start loping towards us. If we say "Hurry up! Who is faster?!" they do the whole tuck it in and run like there's no tomorrow. It is HILARIOUS.
GInger is WAY faster at the beginning, but Amikah has way more stamina.
Ginger is getting better though.

How cute!!!!

Chris, don't ban me.

D'OH! How cute... although she looks rather put upon!!!!

You are on the bus when you suddenly realize ... you need to fart. The music is really loud, so you time your farts with the beat. After a couple of songs, you start to feel better as you approach your stop. As you are leaving the bus, people are really staring you down, and that's when you realize, you have been listening to your ipod.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Good point. My beagle is not so much into the bringing stuff back, either. Never thought about it before

He is supposed to retrieve.
Kona's dad is a field champion hunting dog. (His mom has field champion lines too) These are bred for hunting/retrieving.

Wades boss is a pack rat, and has been using one of their warehouses as a personal storage place for about 10+ years. Well, they have to move out of that warehouse, as they are condensing down...and wade's boss didn't want to go through all his stuff so he told wade to do it, and that we could keep anything we wanted.

Its a big huge messy treasure trove.
