Well.. It turns out my dead drive has about 6 mo. of photos residing on it.

Ontrack is looking at it now. Soon I will find out how much money is going down the drain... and whether they can extract the pictures from the drive.

I have been surfing the FF help forum and some other computer forums trying to find an answer. It appears to be happening to other but not to a great extent. It runs fine on my Vista laptop.

I keep holding out for an update that makes the issues go away. I have been a FF fanboy for a long time and it sucks to give up on it.
