It's a huge place and a lot of fun to wander around in. Very pricey though.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

No silly... For the goods. It's a story, not a museum though walking through the place one is not so sure. :)

Good morning, Happy Maggie Day

Could we make this a national holiday, and give stay at home mom's the day off, guilt free, WITHOUT extra housework the following day? Pretty, pretty please?

Just to clarify, Johnny Depp does not one thing for me.

Tis Captain Jack that makes me a wee weak in the knees

+1 :D Somethin' about 'im.

Grades are DONE!!! Now it's time to go make copies and do lesson plans. Blech.

I'm telling you, you need to pay in bonus points. You'd have kids chomping at the bit to help.

What ever it was got worse with v3.

I agree, it never used to crash. I'm afraid to upgrade again. I've been a loyal user for a WHILE.

That. You're in good shape hopefully.

By the way good morning everyone. I didn't mean to hit the room complaining first thing.

I'm going to go trim my grandma's trees before they start budding for spring. See you all later.

Do me a favor...DON'T stand on the branch you're cutting like my grandfather did?? He was a very, very bright man, but common sense...he had not a lick of it.

Guineh wrote in post #7170562 (external link)
Yep. I now have an automated backup in place. To an external drive. I also have a second external to mirror the first.

I'm leaving nothing to chance anymore. I need an offsite backup as well..

Ditto. I started backing up to 2 separate dvd's each time and keeping them in my dad's super special safe.

misspix wrote in post #7170707 (external link)
Zane, I love this shot. The light is wonderful.

+1. Love it.

Guineh wrote in post #7170986 (external link)
I had no idea, really.

I thought people were celebrating unpedigreed cats..

How far is the magnificent mile? Is that downtown? We're hoping to stay here for 3 nights in the beginning of June.....CLICKY (external link). Mostly cuz my friend and I will have our toddlers with us...and they have the neatest looking kid rooms, and Wii for us if we have any energy left after exploring all day.:cool:

I'm actually about 90 minutes away as well.
The mag mile is right along the lakeshore. It's all downtown.

Gotcha. I wish we were going to be there for more than 3 nights. Maybe we could still plan a meetup or something of TPBM pics?

And....I've got a friend checkin' out her Circuit City today for the 100mm macro. Cross your fingers!!!

cause they are bankrupt and in liquidation - so all their stock must be sold to make as much money as possible before all their stores close.

in Boston they only have 10-30% off their prices so far (but i have not seen any 100mm macro lenses in the 2 stores i've been to - though they have many in this area)
