I'm bored today, so I started cleaning my work area.

So, here is a poll.

Poll question: I have 7 printers, I use 5 of them on a regular basis. How many spare ink cartridges do you have in your house for your printers?

Then if you want to respond, where do you order them from and why do you have a zillion or none handy.

Oh, you can answer the top ones with the quantity and the bottom 2 with the type.

I have 2 PIctureMates, 1 Canon 4x6 portable printer, 1 Canon 5x7 printer, 1 HP, 1 Epson for just documents and an HP all in one in the office. I use 4 at my work station and 1 in the office. Depending on the job I'm doing, I can be printing on all of them at the same time.

Oh, I have 8 black, 15+ color cartridges, and I may have some hiding somewhere. I still can't keep up when I have a big job to do.

And I normally order from Amazon.com or wherever there is a sale. I don't like to pay retail.

I don't have any. I proof on my LaserJet 2605; toner cartridges only for me, and send out for the prints. None of this "ink cartridge past sell-by date" nonsense for me.

I've got loads of them, but I don't really print as much as I used to. If I need big prints it's easier to send out.

I love a good poll... but this is one of the daftest I've seen.
Thanks Suzie!

You're welcome. While I was cleaning and finding ink cartridges all over the place, I realized just how insecure I am. I've been stuck too many times without extras in the middle of a big job, I can't just run out to Staples at 9 p.m. or 6 a.m. So, I decided to be sure I have spares, and I think it got out of hand.

I don't print photos because my printer is so useless, and even then I rarely use it at all for basic documents. If I want to print photos I'll send them somewhere with a good printer.

1 set for each, but like 5 for my 4x6 printer right now as I picked up a deal on them.

I do not do a lot of printing actually, so it is never a huge importance for me.
