Last week I had a visit from a Sharp-Shinned Hawk. I got a shot of him/her eyeballing our bird feeders. https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=623350

The next day I got lucky again with this shot.

Very nice set here. I like how the fence and snow work in the images. The light in the first shot is very sweet!

Great series Tom....wonder if it dawned on him while he was sitting out in the wide open, that the birds can SEE him.

Tom, fabulous shots of the Sharp-Shinned Hawk.
Gawd, he must be checking out the menu, he does look hungry.

Tom, how lucky are you to have such wonderful birds right there? Beautiful, and I love the snow effect too. :)

Sharon

I've wondered the same thing. He must have another perch just out of sight as my wife was telling me about one time she was out back and heard a scream, she turned just in time to see a mess of feathers.

Thanks to everybody for their kind comments. I'm glad you enjoyed.

It is great you all like the fence. That is years of my laziness to get a great white balance tool. :)

Very cool shots Tom. Beautiful raptors that I never seem to get a clear shot at.
