Contrast? Are you sure you don't mean Brightness?

DM,

Very early in my use of the i1d2 I experienced a problem with my flat screen monitor which GretaMacBeth helped me resolve. Part of the solution was to use the contrast control alongside the brightness control, using them together to achieve the required luminence. It sounds to me as though you are finding the same thing?

I was also given VERY strict instructions not to fiddle with the individual channel controls unless it was a CRT monitor, when it was allowed!

I finally was able to calibrate last night without having to fiddle with my contrast settings to adjust luminance. I don't know what I was doing in the past but I almost always had to adjust contrast to adjust the luminance!

Maybe 3.6.2 fixed this I dont know because I notice very little change from my last months calibrations to this month overall in my settings.
