LordV Macro Photo-Lord of the Year 2006 ![]() More info | Jan 07, 2009 00:53 | #5 You will always get some discussion where the borderline is between macro and closeup but I tend to use a definition for macro that the resulting picture should show detail not visible to the naked eye. This equates to a minimum magnification of about 0.5:1 on a 1.6 crop camera, or an in focus FOV width of about 5 cms. http://www.flickr.com/photos/lordv/
