Note that this one attaches to the tripod hole at the base of the body and will add a fraction of an inch to the height of the camera. Then, when you use your camera on a tripod you'll either have to unattach the strap from the camera base or rely on the tripod hole that's in the base of the strap.

Of course you can also remove the strap and use it on the 1D series without the adapter.

Yeah, but they're cheap enough anyhow without the deal so I can order one later. but I've done that before and sent it to my parent's.
