i have been asked to shoot some jewelry for a friend of mine. i have been working as a photojournalist so havent done much studio lighting for still life. anyone have any ideas on what the best way to shoot as far as rings, necklaces, ect are. any help anyone can give would be great thanks.

Look through the www.tabletopstudio.com (external link) website. It is actually a store, but has TONS of info for starting table top shooting. Especially if you can reverse engineer the info.
