Thanks, it was difficult to get a "clear" shot of the structure, because there were so many people around. If I had waited, the sun would have gone down and the opportunity for a nice shot would have also disappeared too. I think by leaving the people in, it is nice because you get an idea of the sheer size and scale of the structure. the "wingspan" is larger than the Statue of Liberty is "tall". Thus in terms of cropping out the right hand side and making it a squarer format takes away from the photo. elTwitcho wrote in post #7247336 I prefer the softer tones and warmer hues of the first. Nice effort all around though Thanks, I put two different tones as people like both styles. You have your favourite! curiousgeorge wrote in post #7247837 Ugly structure but very nice image. In terms of getting more ground in, it is very hard to do that. There is a main road behind me, and the A1(M) on the otherside. The Angel sits on a mound, that is surrounded by shrubs. That and I didn't have a wide-angle lens to be able to capture enough. But thanks for looking

But thanks for looking Fair enough, but if it was me I would have faked it by adding a few rows of pixels at the bottom and shading in black, you may be able to get away with this seeing as the ground is in silhouette.
