I will be there... Sno Drift is usually a toss up... I have been to Mud Drift, Ice Drift (the usual) and every once and a while, snow drift. In other words the weather is the one thing that is hard to plan for, so be ready for anything.

I could give you some tips on getting around. RA does a great job of setting up spectator areas, but that's only if you like to take the same shots as everyone else.

Hope you can make it!

Erik

Im really thinking about heading up and going this year! Its only a 2 1/2 hour drive up so i mine as well. Hopefully i dont have anything school related going on that weekend that will hold me back.

Some cold morning, go out & look at the windows of your garage: Jack Frost has been busy in Michigan.

Currently unemployed  ,
and willing to meet with others at the Henry Ford museum
in Dearborn.

I hold a membership pass which will admit myself and any two others,
plus knock off 10% on shop purchases, and reduce IMAX admission
to $10 even. Parking is free, also, with membership.

Lots of cool stuff to see and photograph there.
If you'd like to meet, please PM me for details.

My membership expires mid-February, but allowing for a good tax refund,
I'll renew it for another year.

Please PM for details.
I'm currently flexible with schedules.

I'd like to meet with others in the area, and I would like to offer this venue
as a safe & public meeting place.
Bring your cameras & lenses; it's a very cool place.

Craig, I randomly went to HFM Sunday morning with my buddy and his wife, I didn't know I was going until about an hour before I actually went. If you haven't gone yet, make sure you get there for the engines exposed, so awesome!

Ya frickin idiot!

Tax refunds are good this year, and I'll renew my membership.

Engines, and everything else, it's all good.
There's another year to go on.

PM me for details.

Im free that Friday and Saturday. IDK if one day is better than the other to go to or what...

It still shocks me seeing names like Pastrana and Mirra on the lineup..haha

Ive just always grown up knowing them for their other things they were good at. Like motocross and BMX..haha

Also dont follow Rally America too much but it was a little shocker to hear a bit back Block had moved to Ford.

If we don't go both days (which might be easyer/ cost less) id like to be able to see Mirra, Pastrana, and Block go by and take their photos..haha. So if anyone knows when they will be racing, chim in!

Update:

I will be attending Sno Drift on Saturday. I should have my 50D with a Tamron 17-50 or a 70-200. I rock one of those shutterbug straps and will be with a couple other people. Im 20 and am 6ft tall probably wearing a beige coat.

If you see someone who might resemble what i have just typed...

Feel free to scream "CHRIS"! haha
