hehe yep. I chose the 2.8 because i talked to the 49ers photographer on the sidelines and he told me thats the one i needed. So i took his advice to heart and bought it.

well not exactly. He just told me to make sure i get the 2.8 he didnt say IS or non-IS. I actually went online and researched it. All the websites i found said to go with the non-IS 2.8 for sports photography.

And actually i bought it on ebay.. i payed 800 shipped with insurance.
