Sigma 70-210

Has anyone seen any reviews on this lens? It's a Sigma 70-210 (4.0-5.6 UC II)This isn't my ad but I do have the same lens and have never come across much info on it. I bought it a few years ago for my Rebel 35 mm and believe I paid $149 at the time. It seemed to work pretty good for me, despite the low price. I then tried it on my Rebel XT when I had that and the images were bad. The colour was way off, very soft focus, etc. Now I have an XTi and tried it out the other day and it seems to work much better on the XTi for some reason.

I brought it with me to work today and will get out and do some test shots.

Here are a few samples from today. They were hand held and had zero post processing other than the cropping.

I am pretty happy with the results. Will need to do some more tests though. Maybe some more colourful shots to see how they turn out.

Here's a colorful one. Mine could be an older version though. It was purchased about 18 years ago. Not bad for a lens at this price.

I think I bought mine in 2000. It will do until I can afford something better. I'm going out at lunch today to take more test shots.

Last one. Seems plenty sharp. This one I made slight levels, curves and a minor unsharp mask.
