Did a search but all I could find was the thread of pictures relating to model cars.

What I'm looking to do is photograph some die-cast cars, but with as little glare on the models a possible.

How should I be setting up my lights? I have a 430EX, and may also have another 430 and 580 during the shoot. But more than likely will end up with some continuous lighting.
Should I be lighting from an angle perpendicular or opposite the camera?

I was also thinking about using a circular polarizer, will that help?

Thanks for any help,
Johnsoir

That's funny - My son just got a big set of them and I was thinking about doing the same thing. Everywhere I go there is a stray car I'm stepping over or on. However, as much as i'd like to break out strobes and make a big deal about it, i was thing of just using a little penlight. Ive seen lots of pros who shoot big cars use long exposures and just paint light in with big soft boxes. Just miniaturize the whole deal.
