I shoot mostly wildlife, flora and landscapes but view a lot of portraits. I saw your post and thought these were very good. I like the post processing you've done as well. The angle and pose of the first image is eye catching with very appropriate tone given to it. #2 looks like a LucisArt filter effect that I use sometimes for portraits. I personally think it works well with this shot! #3 I'm not sure about. Very pretty model you have here (maybe you?) but the lighting didn't work so well on the eyes. The left eye looks good but the right distracts from the picture. Again I like the angle of the last one. Creates a friendly/moody shot.

Very Nice!

yeah, I noticed the punch-in-the-eye effect when the photos came back from my printers, so i patched that one afterward... can't imagine why I didn't see it the first time around... it's not me, I'm far more hairier than her...

#2 isn't lucis, but I have it installed so I know what you're getting at... it's all lightroom there...

actually, I pulled the last one trough photoshop one more time, since I don't like color effects done just so the photos don't look 'ordinary', and gave it a more realistic look... here goes
