I thought id share with you a recent experience of mine,
About a month ago i decided to buy an omnibounce diffuser for my 420ex flash.
So i did my typical shopping around to find that nobody really had them available here in Melb Aust. Ebay had several off shore companies who were ready to sell me their product plus delivery charges.
I decided that this would be the best and fastest way to get myself a diffuser (since supplier advocated 3-7days delivery).
Anyway to make a long story short, prior to shipping the product, the supplier -T dimension, asked via email on two seperate occasions to clarify whether th omnibounce was for the 550ex or the 420ex. I replied in both instances that it was for the 420ex.
4 days later i have a delivery and i find its the omnibounce that suits the 550ex - too big. Now you might think okay send it back and get the right replacement. The thing is this thing only cost $22 AUD and the shippage was $12 AUD. The cost of shipping it back (t dimension wont refund this) would mean i am now spending almost double the original cost.
And since i paid via paypal, i decided to submit a buyer protection dispute via paypals website. They are investigating the matter and will get back to me within 30days. 30 f#$%#$%ken days.....geeeeezzz
Yeah yeah i know .....$30 measily bucks... but its the principal that counts. if a company cant dispatch an order in accordance with the original order requirements.. then what good are they.
Im now stuck with a 550ex omnibounce that i dont need. Thinking of reselling it on ebay if i dont get a response within the next two weeks... .. one things for sure id stay clear of t-dimension, stupid b__st___ds.
