Has anyone used one of these? I've been reading good things about this item and was able to purchase one for $36.00. I was just wondering what the actual range of the remote is.

Jan 10, 2009 07:29 | #3 I have one and it works well. I have not tested the range of the unit too much. So far it triggers from 1-20 feet no problem. I have also used it to trigger my camera while am indoors and the camera is outside about 15 feet away through a window. Jeremy

I just received it today and it works quite nicely. I have not tried to see how far it will work...to cold outside, but it does work from once side of the house to the other going through about 3 walls. Can't wait to set my camera up next to my bird feeders and trying this out. Chuck

Excellent product, but I don't use it as much as I thought I would. It definitely helps for family photos, when you need to be in it! Michael

However, I only have one left at this point. (EDIT the last one has sold) Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery

The receiver plugs into the camera under the front rubber cover. The cord is about a foot long coiled, and could be pulled further but I don't. If I need it longer, I'll just pull out the remote.
