Nissan GTR - Poised for speed

Some of you may recall a few months ago where a couple of dealer managers decided to joyride a few Nissan GTR's to the drag strip in Union Grove, WI on a beautiful sunday.

Anyway - I have full access at the track to shoot as I please, and I happened to snag this shot along with many others you may have seen of those guys from that day. I really enjoyed it.

A few Car Lighting Tips - Updated

Excellent shot and I agree that the angle really adds to the shot (I normally don't like angled shots). However there is one thing I am wondering about, are these dealer managers drag racing cars that they will then sell as new? Even if you make like 20 runs of the 1/4 mile that is only 5 miles on the car and I'm sure they were using launch control and that has shown to put tremendous stress on the transmission.

Yeah, they rolled in on a sunday with plastic on the seats, dealer plates on, and put down horrible times. lol

hopefully they dont put those cars back on the lot. they didnt even break in the engins before racing them... bad bad bad

So did that GTR blow out their transmission? Or did he leave the launch control off?

Well then, what do you suppose they do with a mint $80,000 sports car? Vehicles like these are built to handle much more aggressive driving than a few 1/4 mile sprints.

Im pretty sure Nissan breaks in the engines at the factory.
