You can apply any Picture Style to a RAW file with DPP during post processing, or use the equivalent color profile in Lightroom or Adobe Camera Raw. canonnoob wrote in post #7047888 i use standard and neutral the most but then again i rarely shoot jpeg anyway.

It's to bad with DPP that when you add a new picture style, it is not memorised within the picture style list. Everytime you launch DPP, you have to click on the Browse button again to load the new picture style... Best DPP Threads

I dont use dpp anyway lol The picture styles now appear as dedicated 'camera profiles' in Adobe Camera Raw and therefore anyone using Photoshop or Lightroom can take advantage of them. Kev

The reason I shoot RAW is so that I can do my own editing and not blindly apply the taste of some software designer, so I avoid presets, either for WB or Picture Style or automatic enhancements. Of course some minimal hard-wired editing is unavoidable, but Neutral at least keeps it to a minimum. Elie / אלי
