Chromakey Background Software - Need Recommendation

I just bought a chromakey green backdrop. Now I need software for it, I guess. I see Adobe recommends Primatte Chromakey which is pretty pricy. Are there any others that work just as good or is this the one to get?

I do mainly dogs and nature, so I need something that can get past the "hair" factor in cutting/masking the subject.
